Job Title:              Warehouse Worker 2

Stock and maintain an accurate flow of product and materials from point of receipt, including transfer from other departments, to storage and shipping.  Stage, load and unload finished product and raw materials.  Verify and receive product as needed.

Team player, adaptable to changing multiple priorities.  Ability to learn and become proficient in small package processing, within 30 days of hire.  Must be able to operate and become certified as a forklift operator within 30 days.  Good math skills a must.

Be proficient in verifying outbound and inbound shipments and complete all paperwork.

Proficient in all elements of the warehouse worker 1 position.

Unloads inbound materials, inspects for damages and accurately and legibly records on the appropriate paperwork.  Matches freight bills with purchase orders.

Assists when necessary in regular cycle counts.

Verifies outbound loads against pick tickets before placing in office.

 Verifies BOL and packing slips to make sure all outbound paperwork is correct from office personnel.

 Verifies transfers of loads between locations and makes sure transfer paperwork is correct and turned into proper office personnel when done. (makes sure all errors are noted on transfer paperwork).

 Assists with training other employees.

Runs product labels on Bar Tender.

Adapts to change and completes other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Consistently achieves annual performance objectives.

Must have or develop the ability to work with all distribution personnel as either a teammate and/or lead person on special assignments.

Must have good communications skills to deal with internal and external customers.

Familiarity with current operating system. Must be capable of learning as the job dictates.

Must have the ability to prioritize demands and respond accordingly. Must have the ability to adapt to constantly changing multiple priorities.  Must be able to make decisions quickly to keep flow of product moving when supervisor is unavailable.  Recognize problems in the warehouse that affect the efficiency and safety of warehousing environment.  Bring these problems to management’s attention and work with management to find a resolution.

Frequently requires the ability to lift, sort & stack cartons weighing up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods. Must have the ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 25 feet above the floor. Good vision necessary.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities perform the key job elements.

Unheated warehouse environment, noise is moderate to loud.

High school graduate or GED required.  Forklift and warehousing experience required.
