STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
To maintain smooth and accurate flow of materials from receipt, to transfer, to storage and shipping.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Team player, adaptable to changing multiple priorities.  Ability to learn and become certified as a forklift operator.  Frequently requires the ability to lift, stack and stand for long periods.  Ability to drive at least 50% of the time.  Good vision and good math skills and must.

KEY JOB ELEMENTS

Selects orders from inventory and completes appropriate paperwork accurately and legibly.

Unloads inbound materials and accurately and legibly records on the appropriate paperwork.

Certified on all company forklifts and operates in a safe and responsible manner.

Loads trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.

Selects and packages small parcel orders.  Proficient on the documentation and processing of UPS and Federal Express orders.

Maintains a clean, orderly, efficient and safe warehousing environment.

Minimizes damaged product.  Repacks and re boxes as necessary.  Calls all safety concerns to the attention of management.

Any and all other duties and projects as assigned.

Completes in an accurate and legible manner all required paperwork ie) transfer sheets, DOT Logs, VCR’s.

Safely handles company equipment and materials.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Must have good listening skills and ability to effectively communicate.

REASONING ABILITY
Must have ability to prioritize demands and respond accordingly.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to repetitively lift, sort and stack cartons weighing up to 50 lbs.

Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.

Good vision necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Driving at least 50% of the time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have a CDL B with Airbrake and passenger endorsement.

Ability to become certified on all company forklifts and operates in a safe and responsible manner.
