For over 25 years, CABVI has provided telephone switchboard operator services at the Department of Veterans Affairs medical center for the VA Stratton Medical Center in Albany, NY. In order to continue servicing the VA, they collaborated with Mountainside Medical as their subcontractor, where they jointly provide support for the VA Medical Center seven days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. CABVI’s operators are responsible for:
Processing incoming and outgoing telephone calls
Making various announcements and emergency codes over the public address system
Operating the audiovisual call systems
All in a courteous, professional, and timely manner while being thorough and accurate to ensure first call resolution.
In addition to the Switchboard, CABVI provides coverage for the Information Desk at the Albany Medical Center seven days a week. Their employees are responsible for providing information services to veterans, visitors, employees, and others entering or within the facility.
