A key component of our comprehensive vision rehabilitation program is Adaptive Sports and Recreation (ASR). Through engagement of sports and various recreational activities, people who are blind or visually impaired improve their health, and quality of their lives. They achieve greater independence and most importantly, self-confidence.
As a United States Association of Blind Athletes Sports Club and a U.S. Paralympic Sports club, CABVI offers a variety of athletic and recreational activities including but not limited to:
- Adaptive curling
- Ice hockey
- Distance running
- Group fitness programs
- Tandem biking
- Art programs
- Social gatherings
Thanks to our dedicated community and generous donors we are able to add new ASR activities and programs regularly.
