Employment
Employment offers the advantages of increased earnings
and other fringe benefits, depending upon the employer.
Whether you are interested in full- or part-time work in
the community, or in Central Industries, we are here to
address your employment needs. For people who are blind
or visually impaired, CABVI paves the way to rewarding employment
opportunities. For people of working age who are blind or
visually impaired, succeeding at jobs is a key to full dignity
and independence. Meaningful employment is more than just
a source of income - it’s a source of pride as well. The
Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired
(CABVI) offers two types of employment services – Community
Employment and Central Indsutries – to help people who are
blind or visually impaired find and retain jobs they value.
